The original colour scheme - the background, lines and text colours all selected by the owners, Alan and Heather Taylor. Heather updates the price lists and harness information regularly. 10. Paul Tipper & Associates Paul Tipper, a local solicitor was looking for exposure on the web, but wasn't interested in a flashy and expensive site. FrontPage themes to the rescue.

11. Raleigh Vineyard & Winery The brief is "take a basic business profile; put it on the net". An example of 4 hours of HTML work. Gifs and lines found on the net.

12. Blue Gum B&B Owner Val and Graham Bennett making tentative steps toward getting their business promoted via the web. From little things, big things grow. Updated March 2000.

13. Buteyko North Coast  (OWNER EDITOR) The web site of Buteyko Northcoast. This web site provides pre-sales information on the Buteyko Breathing Technique. Text supplied by owner and practitioner, Debbie Meredith. A simple text markup job. Debbie will update course dates herself with FrontPage Express and upload the changes using CuteFTP.

14. Fernridge Farm Cottage Judy wanted a site that would load quickly and reflect the down to earth style of her B&B. Like many people she was sick of waiting for sites to load. I have tried to emphasize the bushy setting of Fernridge Farm Cottage by using leafy backgrounds and buttons washed with watercolour filters. Updated February 2000.

15. Spicketts Creek Farm Holiday Cottages (INACTIVE) Petra and Charlie Aquilina's site is a fair replication of their cottage accommodation brochure. All photo credits to Petra. Copy also by Petra. I just put the HTML together. The front page logo was designed by Kerry Penrose of Urunga.

16. Alroc Mineral Fertilizers (INACTIVE) Alroc's busiest Australia distributor, Arthur Chambers, commissioned this site to support his sales and marketing of Aloc Mineral Fertilizers. His business is growing, extending beyond NSW and he wants to tackle the New Zealand and other overseas markets, and for this reason he registered a ".com" domain name. This site is a simple html mark up job that follows his existing marketing material. The site uses Webcentral's secure server. Every few days Arthur goes into his "Mission Control" area of the Webcentral web server and checks for new orders. Last time I spoke to him his web site was generating 15 enquiries a week from all over the world.

17. Bellinger River Retreat (INACTIVE) offers a  20 bed facility right on the edge of the pristine waters of the upper Bellinger River. All the photography on this site was done by yours truly. Text on front page and inspection page by owner Janelle Shepherd, edited by Max Spiller.

We call you now!

"Our small manufacturing company services a niche market and we decided a web presence was essential.
Peter Mitchell's skills in transforming our hazy basic concepts into the final web-site design are evident from the number of site visitors who take the time to email us, congratulating us (should be Peter), on an excellent and informative web site. Sales through this medium are on the increase and Peter's assistance has been invaluable in setting up our secure socket layer serving to enable sales over the internet.
Peter's enthusiasm and wide knowledge in this field, together with his cheery disposition make it a pleasure to work with him, and we have no hesitation in recommending him to any enterprise searching for an author to formulate and launch their web site."
Alan and Heather Taylor,
Vintage Wiring Harness.
