18. Bellingen Canoe Adventures web site mirrors the
primary colours, graphics and logos put together by their Desktop Publisher, Josh Kane. A simple 5 page
site intended to give the business on-line exposure. Photography credits to Josh Kane.

19. Crystal Creek Farm
Cottage Pat was looking for a site that reflected the setting and appealled more directly to the non-tourist
market. The site stresses the lack of bright lights and city sounds. The copy is mostly lifted from their
exisiting marketing materials. The magnificent photography on this site was supplied by Pat and Cliff
Schofield's son. Note the rollover buttons, hover links, status bar messages and pop-up books driven by
style sheets and java script.
20. Realities Cold Cast Bronze
This site showcases the work of sculptor, Mary Pinset. The Realities team fabricate miniature statues
using the cold cast method. At present the site displays only 40 of Mary's 100 designs. Themes range for
horses, horse heads, horse plaques, racing, bulls, dogs and sheep.
I did the photography on this site - which was a little tricky. First I used a digital camera,
which on a white background and flash made the pictures appear too contrast-y. Then we shot the pieces
on a mid grey/blue with a standard SLR camera and special Fuji film designed for metal surfaces. The plaques
could be scanned with good results on a flat bed scanner.
21. Taliesin Poetry (INACTIVE)
This site, named after an ancient English scholar, showcases 100 poems by poet (and Olympics Security
Guard) Chris Ellis. The site is aimed to load fast and be restful on the eye to encourage people to browse
through the poems.

22. The Moon Diary Shekhinah
Morgan has been producing the Moon Diary for 7 years. Its mix of moon signs, astrology and pagan myth
make it an popular gift. Spiral bound, with hard covers and approximately purse-sized, it is a handy diary.
An address book, bookmark and calendar have been added to the range in recent years. In 2001 we rebuilt
the site adding a shopping cart.

23. Bellinger Valley Self
Storage Robert Scott's web site details price, dimensions and terms and conditions of his storage
facilities. Useful java scripts provide length conversion and on-page calculations.
24. Bridgewater Country Style B&B is a new B&B
on a cattle property adjoining the world hertitage Dorrigo National Park. Owners Jo and Barry Amos were
after a simple 4 page web site just to give them a web presence while they pay other start-up costs. Some
picture scanning on the site was added by owner Barry Amos.

25. Magic Seal Protective Coatings
the primary objective of this site is to sell Magic Seal dealerships. The homepage discusses the products
in a general sense so that the browsing public know what it is all about if they stumble over the site.
This site is growing as new dealers come on board and the products are offered for retail sale.
26. Rose Cottage (INACTIVE)
Alan & Penny Bishop's web site offers cottage accommodation to single mum's and retirees. The brief
was "make it as feminine" as possible - hence the roses and pinks. A small site that reflects
the budget nature of the accommodation. Removed from the web April 2001 due to sale of property.

27. Kilborne's First
National Real Estate David, Sue, Rod and Di brought Kilbornes Real Estate office and are injecting
new life into the business with a web site - an essential marketing tool for Estate Agents. We had a look
around at local sites and agreed to put the emphasis on getting in and looking at properties quickly as
a priority. The team is very happy with the site and the public have been giving good feedback.

28. Smoky Cape Retreat Mary & Ken previously
had a site hosted on a Midcoast server, but knew it was time to both improve the presentation, include
a booking form and get their own domain happening. Mary's brief asked for a sandstone background and heritage
colours. Mary and Ken supplied all the photography including an aerial shot. The site conveys the restful,
private, informal feeling of Smoky Cape Retreat.

29. Hinterland Tours (OWNER
EDITOR) Anita Menhoffer is using this informational web site to build interest in her walking
tours in the National Parks of Northern NSW. Anita supplied all the photography and the text. This site
is fully mirrored in the German language. It can also be translated into 5 other romance languages and
has constant weather updates.

30. Affirmations Australia Affirmations
Australia make and sell greeting cards with affirming and uplifting sayings or mantras. Like Smoky Cape
they had had a web site previously but felt it was time to renovate and rejuvenate... and add shopping
cart facilities and SSL (secure serving). The site uses java applets extensively for navigation and to
get the readers attention. The site has a passworded wholesale area for wholesale customers. Very nice
site. Site updated in March 2001.

31. Kirkland Real
Estate Urunga (OWNER EDITOR) The crew at Kirkland's
Urunga were looking around themselves and seeing their competitors generating sales leads and closing
sales originating from web site enquiries. Seeing the marketing paradigm changing they asked to get a
site and fast. Supplying the images and text the site was built in 3 weeks from start to finish.
32. Carl Foster's TATA Dealership (INACTIVE)
Matthew Foster owns and runs the TATA dealership for 4WD vehicles at Carl Foster's Service Station in
Bellingen. Matthew wanted to promote the TATA dealership as a business separate from other services offered
at Carl Fosters. This site restricts technical details to pop-up windows in an effort not to confuse customers
with too much detail. Mitsubishi cars added in Oct 2001.

33. Maino Gabuna ("Peaceful
Place") Maino Gabuna wanted a simple 4 page site to promote their homestay accommodation. They
had a budget of $400, so no bells and whistles. The site reflects existing marketing materials.
34. Enterprise Training Company The Enterprise Training
Company, based in Coffs Harbour, commissioned this second generation web site with very specific requests.
It had to be simple and uncluttered, it had to load quickly, be easy to navigate and read at 800x600 and
600x480 screen settings. The resulting site was received well by staff and further additions are planned
for the company's intranet.
